HISTORY

1989

Start of the Communication Arts Program under the Center for Research and Communication, College of Arts & Sciences.

1992

Began the Communication Program with a Major in Advertising.

1995

Conversion of the Center for Research and Communication College of Arts and Sciences into the University of Asia and the Pacific.

1997

Conversion of the Advertising Program to the Integrated Marketing Communication Program (Bachelor's and 5-year Master's degrees)

2005

Launch of Asia Pacific Tambuli Awards

2006

Establishment of the School of Communication from the Institute of Communication.

2012

Start of the Media and Entertainment Management Program (Producer’s track).

2016

10th year anniversary of the Asia Pacific Tambuli Awards.

2016

Launch of the UA&P Junior College and 6-year IMC Program

2022

Launch of Scriptwriting Track, Media & Entertainment Management
